pediatric dentistry

Pediatric Dentistry (Pedodontics)  represents the process that includes the healthy development of both baby and permanent teeth of all infants and children aged 0-14 years and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that may occur.

Fluoride applications in pediatric dentistry, placeholder applications, fissure sealer applications, a branch of science that investigates the problems that arise or may arise in relation to oral and dental health in infants and children during the period from birth to the end of life adolescence and provides solutions to these problems and regulation of dietary habits.  The solution of the problems that arise at all these stages depends on many variables, but is mainly based on the patient-physician relationship.

Baby teeth contain more organic material than a permanent tooth.  For this reason, baby teeth that decay more easily and quickly than permanent teeth should be checked periodically.

With our kids  polyclinic  activities can advance the periods from the first period of baby teeth to the appearance of permanent teeth in healthy development.

  • Monitoring and prevention of tooth eruption disorders

  • Applying preventive measures against decay on both baby teeth and permanent teeth

  • In the treatment of milk teeth and permanent tooth decay, protecting the cavities that can arise due to early tooth extraction using the device.

  • Providing solutions by applying child prostheses to children without teeth

These are just some of the applications performed in the context of pediatric dentistry.

With the help of regular check-ups, which are carried out on average every six months, all kinds of risks that threaten oral and dental health can be detected and prevented.  Early detection and treatment of problems is important in pediatric dentistry.  Early diagnosis and treatment have a positive influence on the physical and emotional development of children.

Pediatric dentistry begins with communication between the patient, the patient's mother and father, and the dentist.  After this meeting, the patient's medical and dental process, as well as the clinical and radiographic phase, is completed.  Before the diagnosis and treatment process is started, the family is informed about the patient and the problem and the treatment process is started.  In this last process, all necessary treatment methods are applied to the patient by our specialized dentists and the process is terminated.
