Business model

Based on International Standards

Our dermatologist specialist and founder of the Clinic, is one of the first dermatologists to receive the "Certificate Dermato-Cosmetic Sciences" awarded by the Free University in Belgium, which is widely recognized in the global hair transplant scene.
Our clinic is a member of the American Dermatology Association and Turkish Dermatology Association.
dr. Meltem is committed to following good medical practice and educating all members of the team with its field expertise and international vision.
We also closely follow the latest trends and developments in hair transplantation and streamline our system to improve our practice.
Our team members participate in international conferences and training programs to update their knowledge and follow the latest developments.

We adopt and are deeply committed to the following principles:

  • We make continuous efforts to increase the success of hair transplant surgery. For this purpose, we have the  EKVCW method  developed. The  EKVCW method  reflects the cultural structure of our institution.

  • Transparency is one of our core values. Providing the best assistance to our patients and honesty are key elements of our culture. We also apply the principle of transparency within our institution. We openly discuss our problems and try to solve them through dialogue.

  • Learning is a never-ending process for us. We constantly attend local and international trainings and conferences to keep our knowledge up to date, learn about new developments and share our experiences with other professionals in the field.

  • For us, learning is not just about following scientific publications. We want to get to know our patients better, improve our empathic skills and learn from the dialogues with our patients and other team members in our clinic.

  • All materials and products we use in our clinic are in accordance with international standards. We sterilize our surgical instruments to surgical standards using an autoclave, a pressure chamber that subjects them to high-pressure saturated steam to inactivate microorganisms. That way we can minimize the risk of possible infections.

EKVCW Method

aesthetics

In our Hair Transplant unit, an understanding of the aesthetics based on science is the foundation of our approach.

From our own experience with the patients, as well as from research in the field, we know that everyone wants a "better look".

We are well aware that there is no point in having a hair transplant if it does not improve your appearance in terms of aesthetic quality.

Prior to the procedure, our surgeons talk to you about your expectations from the procedure and explain what to expect, building a strategy to get the best appearance possible.

The desired results in hair transplantation can only be achieved by mixing science and art.

Quality

We focus our efforts on getting the best results of the highest quality rather than striving for more customers; in other words, we prioritize quality over quantity.

For example, transplanting 5,000 grafts per day will not provide the best outcome for a patient. The increased number of grafts in a single day can expose your head to excessive trauma, which can lead to hair loss in the future and many negative consequences, such as poor quality of the transplant due to time constraints.

Our own experience and research have shown that high graft counts are more effective when the procedure is performed in multiple sessions on different days.

Even if it increases our costs, we basically refuse to transplant more than 3,000 grafts a day and schedule another appointment for the next day.

Quality always comes before quantity.

Improvement

As a Hair Transplant Unit, we always strive to regularly review our operations and continuously improve our practices.

For example, the use of perforating tools for transplantation is sufficient for many clinics, but we include the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy in the procedure to shorten the healing time and accelerate the growth of the transplanted follicles.

In addition, we store the grafts harvested from the donor site in a solution called HypoThermosol® while outside the body awaiting placement. This solution nourishes the grafts and increases the success of the hair transplant.

We analyze the quality of your donor site based on the references in the literature and we also examine the harvested grafts under the microscope before transplanting them.

Our team of doctors, all of whom are ISHRS certified, regularly participate in national and international conferences on hair transplantation to keep up with the latest scientific developments.

We follow the innovations that have scientific validity in the field and we incorporate them into our practice.

Science

We do not use products or practices that are not scientifically proven to be effective.

In addition, we conduct research to ensure that hair transplantation around the world reaches a better point and publish our results for the review of the global scientific community.

The team that performs hair transplant procedures in our clinic has a dermatologist, a hair transplant surgeon and a microsurgery technician.

The job description of each team member is specified and they contribute their expertise to the process. Our team is committed to the practice of evidence-based medicine.

In short, we are inspired solely by science.
